Their answer? Bila Hudood \u2013 a groundbreaking three-day online tour designed to showcase the exciting &#8220;what&#8217;s up&#8221; in Arabic lit today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first Bila Hudood event was a great success. Arab authors and their translators presented an astonishing range of works. Unlike typical Western panels that focus on narrow topics, Bila Hudood offered a refreshing variety of subjects.Over five hour-long panels, attendees explored:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Diverse African works translated from Arabic<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Intimate memoirs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unique food writing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engaging young adult literature<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previously untranslated Arabic masterpieces<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Hussain specifically curated this event to showcase the true depth and breadth of Arab literature.
