letter Seen is equivalent to the English letter S in English as in (Sun), Seen

The letter Seen falls in the second
group. Seen connects itself from both sides. So, let us get to know the letter

As shown in the video, this is the shape of the letter Seen standing alone. The
form of the letter Seen changes depending on where it appears in a word. So, we
can have it either at the beginning of the word (initial), middle of the word
(medial), or ending of the word (final). But firstly, notice that the letter
Seen is easy to write and it looks like three little teeth lined up with a big
belly attached to it. If it is standing alone, it looks like this “س.” Now, let us get to know the different
shapes of the letter Seen and give some Arabic words with Seen.
The letter Seen has 4 forms, depending on its position in the word
Initial (س): When it comes at the beginning of a word:
As in: سكر /sukkar/ which means Sugar
Medial: 1) While being connected (ـسـ):
As in: تمساح /timsaaH/
which means Crocodile
2) While not being connected (سـ):
As in: تماسيح /tamaaseeH/ which means Crocodiles
Final: 1) While being connected (ـس):
As in: شمس /shams/ which means Sun
Final: 2) While not being connected (س):
As in: كأس /kaʼs/ which means Cup
