The present tense refers to an unfinished action

 

As in (أَنا أَتَعَلَّمُ العَرَبِيَّة)

   

/ʼanaa ʼatʻallamu alʻarabiyyah/

To form the present tense, suffixes and prefixes should be added to the root of the verb.

   

نَحْنُ نَـذْهَبُ

   

/naHnu naTHhabu/

Conjugating in first person (Singular)
